Even if you are a Saint Emperor, if you cannot understand it, you will be stuck at this step for the rest of your life.

There is no shortage of geniuses in this world. At least the Ten Ancestors have found a way to crack it, and the Holy Ancestor is of course the first.

He was stuck at this step for a short while before he understood this verse:

“The laws of heaven and earth are by no means eternal and unchanging.”

“The only constant is change.”

“The Tao is the same as me, so I am not eternal and unchanging, but I am changing all the time.”

Then, by understanding me, the Holy Ancestor found the most perfect solution.

That is, accept the self of the past, clearly understand the self of the present, and respect all variables of the self of the future, without distinguishing any of these first.

Holy Ancestor, thus the truth is revealed!
He divided the process of discerning the self into two steps, namely, “discerning the true self” and “discerning the false self”.

To discern one’s true self means to discern all the variables of my future self, which is too time-consuming and laborious, and is not possible.

In this difficult and dangerous period when the Holy Land urgently needs a “God” as a leader, everything will eventually pass away when He identifies the “future me”.

It is true that the false self is not false. The me in the past and the present is indeed me. I am just temporarily lacking the future me.

By this means, the Holy Ancestor passed the hurdle of becoming a Great Dao. After he “clearly discerned myself”, the Holy Dao transcended the Dao and he was soon deified and called the ancestor.

The disadvantages of the shortcut we took at that time were quietly revealed.

The uncertainty of my future self is eroding, affecting, and changing my present self and my past self step by step, and even the ancestral god cannot control this deteriorating trend.

The path has been set, there is no turning back.

The Holy Ancestor did not regret his choice at that time. In fact, He had no choice at that time. There was only that one path.

Those with extraordinary talents never complain about the world, and they follow a step-by-step method of cultivation. The Saint Ancestor soon found out the answer:
“Use a divine object that can temporarily stabilize the ‘future self’ to restrain the present self and the past self, and all the distortions caused by the impact, leaving time to discern the future self and heal the past and present self.”

“This item cannot be found in the mortal world. You should seek it in the heavenly realm, and then enter the Holy Spirit Continent and merge it into the original one, so that future generations of ascetics can use it.”

The ancestral god’s destiny came into being.

The Holy Ancestor, thus achieved the Tao!
The realm of the Ancestor God has been stable for many years; the future self has been discerning for many years, but still has no result.

The Holy Ancestor realized that perhaps he had taken the wrong path, but since he was the first pioneer, it didn’t matter whether it was a mistake or not.

Is it chance?

When I was confused, I dreamed of a person in the starry sky outside the world. He called himself “Master Xihe” and said he would help me in my cultivation. After I woke up, I got the bottle of Liuxu.

But the person in the dream has a disordered self and low fighting power, which is probably due to the distorted influence of my future self on my present self.

On the path of spiritual practice, avoid seeking outside.

Before asking others for help, you must first ask yourself.

Holy Ancestor, is there really no other way? Actually, not really.

At that time, three of the nine ancestral trees awakened, namely the Shenbai Willow, the Great Huai Tree and the Jiujiu Osmanthus Tree, which helped the Holy Ancestor achieve enlightenment, but are now useless.

The Holy Ancestor urged the ancestral trees to awaken again and again, namely the Holy Tree of Infant Creation, the Tree of the Sky, and the Ancient Bodhi Tree. This was enough.

There are three species of ancestral trees remaining, which may help future practitioners to find different solutions to their own paths to deification.

Start with inner seeking.

The Holy Ancestor retraced my path of discerning my truth.

“I” let go of all my fantasies under the Bodhi tree, and witnessed the perfect balance in the creation of the Tao Fruit.

The Holy Ancestor used the second ancestral god’s destiny.

Cut off all the distortions of my future self, as well as my present and past self, including the disordered seven emotions and six desires, and the filthy dust of my heart of Taoism…

The holy way of self reveals the “divine” nature, so the future self and the distorted self can be corresponded to it and named “devil”.

The saint attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, and the demon was finally born.

The Holy Ancestor only had his original mind clear and bright, witnessing the birth of another “self” and reconstructing the concept of the ancestral god realm:

“I am the Holy Ancestor, and he is the Demon Ancestor. This is how we perfect the path of the Ancestral God and divide it into three realms.”

“First, clearly discern the ‘false self’ and, with the destiny of the Ancestral God, first rely on the realm of the Ancestral God.”

“Second, separate the distorted self, including the ‘future self’ and the ‘distorted past and present self’. After identifying the distorted self, combine the two into one and discern the ‘true self’.”

“Third, take out the two ancestral god fates, and let the true self and the false self rely on each other. With the unchanging, you can respond to all changes. This will create the perfect balance of the infant Dao fruit, and you will be free from it.”

The path proved under the Bodhi tree has a 70% chance of success, and the Diying Holy Tree even foresaw the success of the result in advance.

However, accidents still happened.

Every plane has a destiny.

The Holy Ancestor is the destiny of the Holy Divine Continent. After actively dissolving the self, he also actively releases the destiny.

In the process of watching the Demon Ancestor grow and discerning me, the destiny fell on other people, and the sons of destiny were born again and again.

This is a good thing.

The Holy Ancestor did not stop it.

On the contrary, he longs to witness different solutions to the Tao from other children of destiny.

Thus the age of “God” passed.

During the long period when gods and demons were seeking a balance, many ancestral gods were born one after another.

The destiny first fell into the deep sea, and from the sea civilization, a “dragon”, namely the dragon ancestor, emerged.

The demonic desires grew too fast, and had reached a point where they could not be contained, but the Saint Ancestor was unable to discern his true self, and so his “self” began to suppress his “ego”, and the perfect balance was not found. Instead, he fell step by step.

The mandate of heaven does not lie with the holy ancestors.

Variables and cracking increased dramatically.

The “Dragon” unified the maritime civilization and landed on the shore, and the “God” had to fight back, even though he was in a low state.

The first war between gods pushed the world back into the age of chaos, and it was followed by the second war, the third war… and countless wars.

Every battle was like rubbing salt into the wound. The “self” of the Holy Ancestor was increasingly oppressed by the “self” of the Demon Ancestor, until it reached the point where it could not recover.

In human civilization, several ancestral gods were born, who repelled the “dragon” of the sea civilization.

Whether time was really disordered or he had completely lost himself, the Holy Ancestor couldn’t tell.

He didn’t know which order it was, but he saw the destiny being bestowed upon the sword, witnessed the arrival of the Void Clan, and saw a barbarian becoming a god in the flesh.

Yin and Yang were in chaos, and the ghost cultivators in Fengdu regained their spiritual wisdom. They devoured each other and gave birth to the ancestor god of the way of soul.

He divided the pure divine power into two parts in advance, and stored them into the “Source Crystal” which states “I do not discern, all laws cannot invade, the Holy Path is indestructible, and nothing can erode it.”

The source crystal contains the pure power of the Holy Ancestor. It will represent the divine will of justice and guide the cultivators of the five domains to walk the path of the Holy Ancestor again.

This guiding power, in the virtual sense, created the era of spirit refining in later generations; in reality, it is hidden in objects as small as Dao pattern stones, as medium as holy source crystals, and as large as any holy fruits or holy medicines that contain ownerless holy power.

Accept the unknown and be content with yourself, that’s enough.

The more paranoid I am, the tighter the shackles and cage will be on me.

So, what are the shackles and cages that trap the “self of the past, present, and future”, and how can we remove them?
Ba Zun’an also gave the answer!

“Three thousand strands of troubles weave into prison locks.”

“Please remove my prison shackles and let me pick the fruits of the Tao in the clouds?”

Therefore, after sacrificing my body and soul, I use Hua Zu’s sword to cut off all the cages called “unchanging” in my past and present selves, and finally sacrifice myself.

But with the concept of “reliance” of the Sword Ancestor, Qingju relied on the past and present self to adapt to the fluid changes of the future self. Is this the key?
“The way is to do nothing, just let nature take its course…”

But isn’t this the transformation of the Great Dao?
Yes, but with the help of Qingju, I can get back to the “I” in the “sword” and find the past, present, and future me:
I have lost my form like Hua Weiyang, but I can also condense my form at will.

My mind should have disappeared with the wind, rain and clouds, or become crazy, disordered and out of control, but while Qingju awakens myself, I can still remain the same despite the ever-changing future.

The sword and me, ever-changing and unchanging, the future, distortion and the present, the past… I have done it all, I have understood it all!

“Yin and Yang rely on each other!”

“Perfect!”

“Eight Masters, better than that Master Xihe…”

The Demon Ancestor didn’t even dare to jump to conclusions, because what the Eighth Master had understood seemed to be fundamentally not just “I”, but he… He also saw through the “Tao”?
It couldn’t be borrowed or copied.
